As a transmasc individual, I looked everywhere for swimwear and everyday gear that actually fit, functioned, and affirmed who I am. Instead, I found a massive shortage of inclusive swimwear options. And when it came to packing? Everything out there seemed designed to make those of us with smaller frames look, well… aggressively hard. It wasn’t natural, it wasn’t comfortable, and it didn’t feel like me.

I knew our community deserved better. I wanted gear that provided security without compromise. And thats how the idea of ANCHRD was born.

Since ANCHRD was founded right before summertime, I wanted to start my first launch in an area that was clear needed attention and would also be relevant to the upcoming season... which was swimwear. I wanted to design something that lets you move freely but still gives an affirming fit to allow the user to feel more comfortable in their body. I also wanted a packing option that is swim safe, but also give a natural, confident silhouette for smaller bodies, especially as a smaller guy myself. I also wanted to prioritize stealth, in the event where an accident may happen that the packer won't directly out the person wearing it. That's where the clear and non-anatomical look comes from!

Whether it’s a chest securely strapped by a binder or a packer kept perfectly in place without creating an unnatural bulge, our gear is designed to lock down your look so you can let go of the anxiety. We provide the anchor; you live your life!

ANCHRD is built primarily for the transmasc community, but our mission extends to anyone who uses clothing to shape their identity. We create premium, inclusive swimwear, compression garments, and packing gear engineered to solve the everyday fit issues we face; whether that’s in daily life, under the stage lights of a drag performance, or in the meticulous crafting of a cosplay.

We know that one size does not fit all, and "standard" metrics don't cut it. We don't believe in cutting corners, especially when it comes to the garments closest to your body. Every single piece in the ANCHRD collection is built from scratch.

  • Custom Tech Packs: We don't just print logos on blanks. Every item is built from custom-designed technical specifications, offering an inclusive size range from XS to 3XL.

  • Rigorous Testing: We wear-test our prototypes in real-world conditions to ensure the fabric blend, compression levels, and pocket placements handle movement, water, and daily wear perfectly.

  • Ethical manufacturing: We partner directly with trusted manufacturers who share our commitment to high-quality construction, durable textiles, and precise stitching. We do our best to always source eco-friendly or recycled materials in effort to do our part in protecting our planet!

ANCHRD is an independent, founder-led brand. From hand-dyeing initial market inventory and weeding vinyl to mapping out complex digital garment patterns, every step of this journey has been fueled by a passion for grassroots community support. We operate with a small, dedicated circle that includes hands-on product testing by our local LGBTQ+ community, ensuring that everything leaving our store is verified by the community it is built for!

  • Looking Forward: We are currently building toward the launch of a dedicated donation program. Our goal is to provide free or subsidized gear to community members who need safe, affirming compression and packing options but face financial barriers.
